Via Marketing's Pledges

Our Everyday Pledges

At Via Marketing we want to build a business that feels good to work in, partner with, and buy from. We do not claim to have every answer or a perfect scorecard. Our promise is simple: we do what we can, when we can, and we keep pushing forward. Below are the five areas where we hold ourselves accountable day to day.

1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Different lived experiences spark better ideas. We hire, brief, and collaborate with that belief at the center.

  • Hiring & teaming: Candidate short‑lists are built for diversity of background, discipline, and perspective.

  • Voices at the table: Project leads rotate so that emerging talent shapes strategy alongside senior staff.

  • Safe feedback loops: Anonymous quarterly surveys and open office hours with leadership surface biases before they become barriers.

Pledge: Keep listening, keep learning, call out blind spots fast, and back inclusion with budget when it matters.

2. Environmental Sustainability

A lighter footprint is good business. We operate primarily remote, insist on digital‑first deliverables, and vet suppliers for sustainable practices.

  • Zero commute, zero print: Meetings happen on‑screen; decks live in the cloud.

  • Lean tech stack: We sunset unused software and favor energy‑efficient hosting.

  • Client alignment: We prefer brands advancing clean energy, circular design, or responsible sourcing.

Pledge: Reduce impact where we can today, improve our metrics tomorrow, and avoid greenwashing at all costs.

3. Career Growth and Learning

Standing still in marketing is falling behind. Every role here comes with a built‑in growth lane.

  • 1:1 mentorship: Each teammate pairs with a senior sponsor for monthly goal reviews.

  • Skill sprints: Two‑week micro‑projects let people try disciplines outside their titles.

  • Paid learning: We reimburse accredited courses, conference passes, and certifications.

Pledge: Fund curiosity, reward initiative, and make it easy to outgrow your current job description.

4. Social Impact

Marketing should serve, not just sell. We apply our craft to causes that move society forward.

  • Pro‑bono projects: Up to 5 percent of annual capacity supports nonprofits in mental health, education, and climate tech.

  • Amplify good: Campaign concepts must pass an internal “net benefit” gut check before green‑light.

  • Volunteer days: Team members receive two paid days a year to contribute skills or sweat equity in their communities.

Pledge: Use our reach to elevate missions that matter, even when nobody is paying us to do it.

5. Work‑Life Balance

Great work needs a rested brain. We design schedules for humans, not machines.

  • Async flexibility: Core collaboration hours are four per day; the rest is on your clock.

  • No‑meeting Fridays: A weekly block for deep work or deep rest.

  • Wellness stipend: A modest monthly allowance covers gym memberships, therapy, or whatever keeps you whole.

Pledge: Guard downtime, discourage hero hours, and lead with empathy.

Keeping the Pledges Honest
